Plan your trip to EDC Mexico
Mexico City airport (MEX) is 3 miles from the venue, and Metro Line 9 and Metrobus Line 2 both have stops nearby. There is no camping, so book a hotel, and check the bag and ID rules before you go.

- Mexico City International Airport (MEX) is closest to the venue, 3 miles away. Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU), Zumpango, is 31 miles from the venue.[12]
- Metro Line 9 (brown, Pantitlán–Tacubaya): Velódromo, Ciudad Deportiva and Puebla stations. Metrobus Line 2 (purple, Tacubaya–Tepalcates): UPIICSA and El Rodeo stations.[13]

- Official Insomniac Ticket 2 Ride coach buses pick up at hotels and malls and run to and from the venue. You may reserve at any shuttle location, regardless of where you are staying. Stops: Mundo E, Plaza Lindavista, Galerías Coapa, Perisur Zacatepetl, Santa Fe, Interlomas, Parque de los Venados and Condesa Parque España.[14]
- General parking access is at Gate 15 of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez; preferred parking access is at the Estadio Harp Helú parking lot. Accessible parking is near the festival entrance. Vehicles must vacate the lot at the close of the festival each day or be towed at the owner's expense. Prohibited in lots: tailgating, sleeping in your vehicle, buying/selling tickets, vandalism, loitering, drinking alcohol and illegal drug use.[15]

- Attendees must be 16+ to enter without an adult. Under-16s are welcome with a legal guardian. You must be 18+ to buy or consume alcohol or enter VIP areas. Tickets are required for everyone aged 3 and up; children under 3 are free.[17,18]
- Valid photo ID is required. Accepted: Mexico government IFE card, Mexican or foreign government-issued passport, foreign government-issued driver’s license (all must show a photograph and date of birth). Not accepted: Mexican driver’s license, school or consular ID, expired ID. Passports from any country are accepted if your ID is lost or expired.[17,18]
- No re-entry or ins-and-outs. No refunds or exchanges.[17,18]
- The festival takes place rain or shine. Entry requires a thorough search, including emptying pockets and bags, a full pat-down, and possibly removing shoes; entry can be refused to anyone.[17]
- Zero-tolerance drug policy, including all marijuana even with a medicinal card. Police work inside and outside the event.[17,19]
- No sitting on designated dancefloor areas; no moshing, crowd-surfing or stage-diving; no alcohol in parking lots or outside the festival entrance; no unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling or giveaways; no unauthorized or unlicensed vendors.[17]
- Small bags, single-compartment backpacks, plush backpacks and purses up to 12"x12" are allowed. Hydration packs (max two main compartments and one smaller) and official Insomniac water bottles must be empty on entry. Larger bags are prohibited.[17]
- Allowed: cell phones and portable chargers, fanny packs, sunglasses and hats, in-date prescription medication (with prescription matching ID; only the amount needed), earplugs, sealed lip balm, powder makeup, sealed tampons, glowsticks and illuminated costumes, sealed gum, hula hoops, deflated inflatables, flags/banners and handmade signs (no corporate branding or hard poles), festival totems, non-professional cameras and handheld video under 6″ including GoPro, selfie sticks, hand sanitizer of 60ml or less, simple belts, sealed contact lens formula, and soft masks with small batteries.[17]
- Prohibited: illegal substances and paraphernalia, massagers, laser pointers and air horns, LED gloves/microlights, costumes resembling police/security/medical uniforms, pacifiers, gas masks, eye drops, over-the-counter medication, liquid makeup, deodorant, unsealed tampons, lighters and cigarettes, e-cigs/vapes, glass, cans, cups or coolers, outside food or drink, markers/pens/spray paint, spiked jewelry or large chains, weapons of any kind, stickers and flyers, balls or Frisbees, tents, large umbrellas, chairs or blankets, bota bags, stuffed animals, professional camera/audio equipment and pets.[17]
- Totems: maximum height 3 meters; lightweight material only (foam, PVC); PVC, light wood or aluminum poles no thicker than 2.5 cm in diameter; collapsible/telescoping camera extenders in hollow aluminum or polycarbonate are OK; attached inflatables must be deflated; totems promoting illegal activity or hate speech are not permitted.[17]
- Photo passes are not required for standard fixed-lens cameras or handheld video devices under 6 inches; professional cameras are not permitted. Insomniac does not provide media or photo credentials to independent photographers or videographers.[18]
- Do not hang posters or hand out flyers inside the festival or in the surrounding neighborhood; flyers may be handed out only just outside the gates at the close of each day.[18]
- Tickets are non-transferable once the wristband is scanned. A 3-day pass is good for one scan per day. VIP tickets bought by under-18s are not refunded and give no VIP amenities.[18]
- Free water refill stations are placed throughout the venue.
- Locker rentals give unlimited in-and-out access during the day.
- Medical teams and first aid tents are free of charge.

- Food and beverage stands are located throughout the event, with roaming vendors carrying water, snacks and other beverages. Cash and credit are accepted.[20]
- Bars throughout the festival serve beer and liquor; service hours may be limited. You must be 18+ to consume alcohol.[20]
- Free water refill (hydration) stations are located throughout the venue, shown by the water droplet symbol on the festival map. Water is filtered with systems including UV sterilization.[19,20]
- The Insomniac Shop has multiple merch booths on-site, selling T-shirts, jackets, backpacks, sweatshirts, water bottles and accessories, including the EDC apparel collection and artist collections.[20]
- Locker rentals give unlimited in-and-out access throughout the day and can be shared with friends. Lockers measure approximately 37 cm H x 46 cm W x 43 cm D.[21]
- Info booths are stationed throughout the venue; locations are on the festival map.[20]
- Medical teams and first aid tents operate throughout the grounds, free of charge. Ground Control team members (purple shirts, fanny packs and light sabers) help Headliners stay safe, healthy and hydrated.[19]
- Lost & Found is just inside the main festival entrance near the Boombox Art Car, open daily during all festival hours. Found items are logged online after the festival.[17]
- Accessibility: accessible parking and entrance, an accessible viewing area for each stage, and accessible restrooms and concession stands. The infield is concrete, grass and gravel/dirt; the entrance slopes into the venue and most of the infield is relatively flat. Service animals (not emotional support, therapy or companion animals) are permitted. Audio describer requests must be made 14 days before the event; ASL, closed captioning, braille/large print and guided tour requests 30 days before.[22]
- Attractions include full-size rides, interactive art installations, and costumed performers (dancers, stilters, aerialists, circus performers). The rides are free.[23,24]
- VIP cashless top-up stations (Digicash presented by Banamex) are available for VIP ticket holders.[5]

The 2026 edition had nine stages and areas, from the Kinetic Field main stage to Neon Garden for techno and house and Wasteland for harder styles. Hardwell, Alesso and ANYMA closed Kinetic Field on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Can you watch EDC Mexico live?
As of Oct 27, 2026: EDC Mexico last streamed live in 2020, on Insomniac TV. No 2027 stream has been announced yet, and the February 19–21, 2027 dates are reported but not confirmed by the festival.
We could not confirm an official full stream of EDC Mexico for 2025 or 2026. Insomniac's YouTube channel shows no EDC Mexico sets or streams for those years. Individual sets from the 2026 edition are on Apple Music's EDC Live Sets page and in fan uploads, so expect recordings after the weekend rather than a live feed.

Is re-entry allowed?
No, ins-and-outs are not allowed.
What is the maximum number of tickets I can buy?
Tickets are limited to eight (8) per person.
Where is Will Call for international orders?
International orders are held at Will Call at OCESA Esplanade inside Gate 6 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez, near Ciudad Deportiva Metro Station, from 10am–11pm.
Can I upgrade GA tickets to VIP?
Upgrades may be available if VIP tickets have not sold out. Contact Ticketmaster for more information.
Will set times be posted in advance?
Yes. During the days leading up to the festival, set times are posted on the website, social media and email updates, and appear on the festival guide received at entry. The lineup is subject to change.
Can I sleep in my car or park overnight?
No. Sleeping in cars in the venue parking lot is not permitted, and cars left during non-event hours are towed at the owner's expense.
Can I get a SkyDeck package if some of my group are under 18?
No. Only those 18 or older are permitted to enter VIP or SkyDeck areas.
How can I avoid ticket fraud?
Buy directly from Ticketmaster. Do not buy from scalpers; an illegitimate ticket is turned away with no refund.
