The next edition, UNTOLD 2027 - STAR EDITION, runs 5-8 August 2027 and is organized by Untold Live S.R.L. Tickets are on sale and the first General Access 4-Day phase has sold out, but no artists have been announced yet.

- The STAR DROP campaign started on 21 October 2026 with a new challenge every two weeks. Each challenge gives away a GA 4-Day Pass.
- The organizer for 2027 is Untold Live S.R.L. The 2026 edition was co-organized with Untold Production S.R.L.
Going to Untold Festival? Know before you go
Aug 5–8, 2027 at Cluj Arena and Central Park "Simion Bărnuțiu". From the festival's own guide:
Festival access hours are 16:00 - 05:00.[13]
Children under 7 enter free with a legal guardian, and children under 3 must wear noise killing headphones.[13]
Visitors aged 16-18 need a festival ticket, a signed declaration of commitment and a valid ID.[13]
Backpacks or bags larger than 29 x 21 x 12 cm are not allowed.[13]
Umbrellas of any kind, drones, and professional photo/video equipment with detachable lenses are banned.[13]
External portable batteries, GoPro cameras, compact photo cameras and lighters may be brought in.[13]
GA & VIP enter via Central Park Simion Bărnuțiu (entrance from Opera Maghiară); VIP only can also use Aleea Stadionului.[13]
Lockers cost 150 lei for all festival days or 50 lei for one day, plus a 50 lei refundable key guarantee, and are available daily 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM.[13]

No artists are announced for 2027 yet. The 2026 edition was headlined by names such as Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson, and 2025 by Alan Walker and Don Diablo.

Cluj-Napoca has an airport, train links to most Romanian cities, buses and Uber drop-off points near the grounds. Payments inside are cashless on the wristband, and bags are limited to 29 x 21 x 12 cm.

- For minors aged 7 to 18 a parent or guardian must complete and sign the Commitment statement (from untold.com) and submit it when collecting the wristband; without it the wristband is not issued and entry is denied.[17]

- Wristband pick-up locations in Bucharest (BT branches) and Cluj-Napoca (malls) are for attendees 18+ with General Access or VIP passes and completed online check-in. The main pick-up point in Central Park is open to adults and minors. One-day wristbands can only be picked up on the day of the ticket.[13]
- Access hours are 16:00 - 05:00. Entry is through Central Park Simion Bărnuțiu, entrance from Opera Maghiară (GA & VIP); Aleea Stadionului is VIP only. Wristbands must be kept on the wrist throughout the festival.[13]

- Allowed: compact photo cameras, lighters, GoPro cameras, small lightweight selfie sticks, portable batteries, lipstick or lip balm, SPF cream, non-flammable perfume or deodorant in containers under 50 ml, baby bottles, crutches, pills (a non-coated tablet needs a medical prescription), and special food for intolerance/allergy with medical proof.[13]
- Not allowed: drugs or psychoactive substances, flammable cosmetics (except sunscreen), cans, food containers, fireworks, lasers, sprays and corrosive/flammable substances, weapons, knives and sharp objects, chains (including belts), torches and flares, food and drinks, animals, umbrellas, professional photo/video equipment or cameras with detachable lenses, drones, speakers, banners held with sticks, chairs, musical instruments, megaphones, large tripods or selfie sticks, and discriminatory or illegal material.[13]
- Baby strollers and cigarettes are permitted; flags are allowed if not on a flagstaff.[19]
- Entry to the festival is allowed twice per day, to avoid congestion at the access points.[19]
- All payments inside the festival are cashless, made with the wristband at every bar and merchant. Top-ups work with any Mastercard, Visa or Amex card regardless of currency. Top-ups are valid for the whole festival and unused balance can be refunded.[13]
- Day tickets are valid for a whole festival day, from 16:00 to 05:00. A Pass gives one person access for all four days.[19]

- VIP Main Stage Pass: elevated platform toward the main stage, priority lane access, dedicated VIP bar and menu, VIP staff assistance, seating and standing areas, bottle service menu (drinks not included), Ultra VIP table booking, dedicated restrooms and VIP activations.[20]

As of Oct 27, 2026: Untold Festival 2026 streamed live on Social media and YouTube, across 3 stages. No 2027 stream has been announced yet; the festival runs August 5–8, 2027.
UNTOLD has streamed its sets for years. The festival FAQ says online streams run on its social media accounts. In 2026 a Reddit festival-streaming thread described three stages being streamed, and individual full sets were also posted to YouTube afterwards. Expect a similar setup in 2027, but the platforms and stage list haven't been announced.

How do I check in online?
Sign in to your account and go to My Wallet. Online check-in is free in the first 30 days after purchase; check-in at the festival gates costs 25 euros.
What time can I enter the festival?
Access hours are 16:00 - 05:00. Quietest arrival times are 16:00-18:00; 18:00-20:00 is peak and 20:00-00:00 is very busy.
Where is the main wristband pick-up point?
Central Park "Simion Bărnuțiu" in Cluj-Napoca, open to adults and minors with GA or VIP passes and completed online check-in. In 2026 it was open 4-5 August 12:00-22:00 and 6-9 August 15:00-03:00.
Can I buy a ticket at the entrance?
Yes, from the Ticketing Point at the Hungarian Opera entrance.
What is the difference between a Pass and a day ticket?
An UNTOLD Pass grants access to one person for all four festival days; a ticket grants access for one day.
What do I do with a transferred ticket?
Create a new account using the phone number the ticket was transferred to; the ticket then appears in My Wallet. Check-in more than 30 days after purchase costs 15 Euro, and at the festival gates 25 Euro.
