Shambhala is a 19+ event with no exceptions.[7]
Government-issued photo ID is required for entry regardless of age.[7]
Each shuttle passenger may bring a 23kg bag and a carry-on suitcase; oversized items like mattresses and bikes are not permitted.[8]
No campfires or open flames of any kind are permitted.[9]
A per-person re-entry fee (to be announced in 2027) is payable on return to the event.[7]
The Spokane shuttle crosses the Canada-USA border, which can cause delays of 1-3 hours.[8]
Any vehicle over 20' total length (including a towed trailer) counts as oversized for paid Starlight/Sunshine vehicle camping.[6]

- Metta is at the bottom of the festival site, close to the stages and downtown. No vehicles or vehicle camping are permitted in Metta.[6]
- Starlight is in the heart of the festival and is for camperized vehicles only. A paid upgrade allows camping in a camperized vehicle or trailer. Starlight Regular and Oversized prices are to be announced.[6]
- Sunshine is at the top of the festival site and allows camping with or inside a vehicle or trailer through a paid upgrade. Sunshine Regular and Oversized prices are to be announced.[6]
- Vehicle Pass is purchased on arrival, first come first serve. Any vehicle over 20' in total length is considered oversized.[6]
- Free Parking is for ticket holders who tent camp. Tent camping or sleeping in a car is not permitted in the Free Parking zone.[6]

- No campfires or open flames of any kind. Candles, fireworks, fire toys, white gas fuel, tiki torches, BBQs, hibachi-style stoves and propane heaters or campfires are prohibited.[9]
- Propane bottles older than 12 years that are no longer safe to refill must be replaced or left at home.[9]
- Do not leave a vehicle idling on the grass. Turn off heat-generating appliances and keep them away from combustibles.[9]
- Smokers must dispose of cigarettes safely and must not toss them on the ground or in the garbage.[9]
- A re-entry fee per person, to be announced in 2027, is payable on return to the event. Tampered or duplicated wristbands are turned away at the gate.[7]
- The festival is cashless. Credit, debit (including Interac), prepaid and contactless payments are accepted. There are no ATMs on site, and RFID wristband payments will not be offered in 2027.[7]
- Wristbands are RFID, linked to the electronic ticket scanned at the Main Gate, and are issued at the gate. Wristbands must not be removed or tampered with.[7]
- Guests must consent to a reasonable examination and searches of vehicles and personal effects.[9]
- Consent must be given verbally, enthusiastically and clearly. Personal space and boundaries must be respected.[9]
- Do not bathe in the Salmo River, including with biodegradable products. Wash off sunscreen before entering the river.[9]
- The Salmo River is unsupervised and swimmers use it at their own risk. Use the buddy system, do not swim after dusk, and never enter moving water head first.[9]
- Bear safety: never leave food or scented items in a tent, never approach or feed a bear, and do not run if a bear is seen.[9]
- Tickets are non-refundable. There are no exchanges or refunds, including for early termination or weather cancellation. Tickets with the Refundable Booking add-on are the exception.[7]
- Medical Services and The Sanctuary are open 24 hours a day.
- ANKORS offers free drug checking, Naloxone training and Fentanyl test strips.
- Daily yoga runs Tuesday through Sunday, and the Salmo River is open for swimming at your own risk.
